Galaxy is analysis and data integration platform that enables researchers to perform complex bioinformatics analyses, experimenting with multiple options and parameter settings at each step of the analysis.  Galaxy supports integration of data from multiple data sources, including user supplied data.  In Galaxy you can save analysis, convert them to reusable workflows, and share, document and publish either.  This session will demonstrate how to use the free public Galaxy web server to integrate and analyze your biological data.

This workshop will introduce the Galaxy platform and demonstrate how to

1. load and integrate your own data with data from popular online resources such as UCSC, BioMart, and InterMine;
2. perform common analysis/operations on genomic data; and
3. save, share, describe and publish your analysis and generated datasets
