Non-Seed Plants

This session deals with the genomes/transcriptomes of seedless plants in the wide sense, i.e., algae, bryophytes (mosses, liverworts, hornworts), lycopods and ferns. Traditionally, we place a lot of emphasis on mosses, with the flagship moss P. patens having a fixed part in this session. This time we will also include talks about 1KP non-seed plant transcriptomes, about the JGI gene atlas project and about two mosses the genome of which is currently being sequenced, Ceratodon and Sphagnum.
