Post-transcriptional Gene Regulation

Recent global studies using high-throughput next generation sequencing tools show that co- and post-transcriptional processes such as alternative splicing, alternative polyadenylation, and mRNA transport and stability contribute significantly to gene regulation in eukaryotes. These aspects of gene regulation play important roles in development, disease and stress responses. This workshop will cover emerging themes and new paradigms in this exciting area of gene regulation.
