SGN and RTB Databases: Genomics and Breeder Tools.

The Mueller lab develops databases for genomic and phenotypic data for the Solanaceae (SGN, Solgenomics.net), and root, tuber and banana (RTB) crops (Cassavabase.org, Yambase.org, Sweetpotatobase.org, Musabase.org). The lab also develops tools for data analysis and visualization. In this workshop, we will demo tools for accessing genomic data at SGN and breeder-friendly features implemented in the RTB databases. Biologists, breeders, and bioinformaticians interested in utilizing the data and tools on our databases, and exchanging experiences, ideas and co-developing tools will benefit from attending this workshop.
