NRGene - Next Generation Complex Genome Assembly

DeNovoMAGIC2 is the only genome assembler that has successfully reconstructed the most repetitive, polyploid and heterozygote genomes of plants and animals. Using only high coverage of short Illumina reads, DeNovoMAGICTM has produced exceptionally accurate sequences covering 95% of the genomes. Hexaploid wheat assembly, one of the greatest challenges in genomics, was completed in just three weeks, providing the wheat community with an essential tool to advance research and breeding. Assembly of polyploid wheat, maize, mango and tetraploid rainbow trout will be presented by NRGene's collaborators from leading academia and the seed industry. The resulting beneficial uses of most reliable genome sequences to support the broad downstream research and breeding oriented analysis will be presented. High throughput assembly of multiple inbred lines reveal the true genome diversity of maize which otherwise could not be elucidated using whole-genome re-sequencing methods.
